Hi,
This doesn't work for me. I have found ways of opening CMD but it just says "Command Prompt has been disabled by your administrator. Press any button to continue..." Is there a way of enabling it? If not is there a program you can use instead. It would have to be a file that is one exe not more because exe files are blocked so I have to open them in Powerpoint and you can't use files that run from other files because it embeds the file.
Thanks,
Clarkie

start

also: the name of the .bat file doesn't matter one bit at all

open microsoft office and type

run.com
command.com

click save as, then go down to save as type and choose plain text

save as something.bat

when you clock save a new window should appear that lets you pick encoding, chose ms-dos

open this file and it opens command prompt

I have a problem if you could help that would be great. When I enter the prompt it has a message that once I push a button it exits out. This is really pissing me off. Any ideas or anything would be great.

I was advsied of another route at work just the other day...

If you can get to the Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) you should be able to select File > New Task (Run...) to get to the usual Run window!
