iPhone Gaming - Labyrinth 0.4 Download

Labyrinth was one of the best games created for the iPhone, it made good use of the phone’s accelerometers and showed the true potential of 3rd party apps for the iPhone. Unfortunately, the popular game was recently updated by its developer to v1.0 adding a timer (which was way too quick) and a demo only version…meaning that now the game was not free anymore.

The new version adds some new features like calibration and probably fixes some bugs…but the full game costs $7. If you think its worth it…go ahead and buy it, if not then we got your piece of cake! Download Labyrinth v0.4 and follow the following instructions to get it working :

1. Extract the zip file to your Desktop. Open WinSCP and connect to your iPhone via SSH

3. Go to the root/Applications folder and Drop the extracted folder in there

4. Next go into the Labyrinth.app folder and right-click on the file labyrinth and set permission to 0755

5. Reboot your phone

Enjoy ;)

I installed it and it shows up fine on my iPhone but when I click to play it, all I get is the main home screen that you have up top.

“Welcome To Labyrinth. Please hold your iPhone parallel to the floor and control the game by tilting it slightly”

My iPhone is parallel but nothing happen and after around 20 seconds Labyrinth exits.

How do I fix this?

Right click on the file named “labyrinth” click properties then change the #0644 to 0755

You forgot to set the permissions to 0755, do that and reboot phone and it will work

I also try to downgrade, but on a Mac, and although permissions are 0755 (drwxr-xr-x) Labyrinth hangs and only quits after 30 s to Springboard…

How did you resolve this ?

Thanks

Make the the file inside the folder Labyrinth.app named “labyrinth” to 0755 then reboot…it should work.

REBOOT your iphone. That means SHUT it down and then start it again. It will work then.

Hello, I’m also on a Mac and used an FTP tool to change the permissions. Still I get the Hak screen for about 20 seconds and then the app closes. I’m following your instructions exactly. I’m changing the permissions on both the folder and opening the file folder contents, finding the Labyrinth app file and changing them there too? Still no app opening. I’ve tried changing both within my iphone with an iphone finder app and in my G5 desktop before transferring to the iphone?? When should you change the permissions? Yes I’ve also done the complete reboot. Thanks
