Isnt it funny that all these people (DEV TEAM) and erica are making programs for the 1.1.3 and updating things to work for that version yet no one YET has a great way to update to 1.1.3 that works.. I dont understand it... ERICA said she is not doing 1.1.2 programs any more but yet they dont want to help people get to 1.1.3

I updated to 1.1.2 and jailbroke it and installed installer and all the updates to it and open ssh and and everything and updated using official 1.1.2 updater and it updates and reboots and goes to the main screen. And installer is there.. I click on it and it said to update installer again so I did and then when it reboots it takes me to a screen with a slide bar to the dial pad and itunes says it wont detect it and to take it to an apple store. So I do it again and I installed this time the sync fix and rebooted the phone and it did the same thing.. Is there anything anything to do.. come on this has to be easier then all this CRAP all the time... Why cant someone that honestly knows what they are doing make a fix and it work and people pay him or her everytime they want to update but at least they know it will work.. What can I do now... please email me and let me know... pdconner@comcast.net

I followed this procedure and although thejailbreak seemed to worked out ok, when I put the anySim in the phone I got a "sim could not be detected" message. I have tried the whole procedure from the beggining TWICE with no luck. No I think the best think to do is to get mu iphone back to virgin state (1.1.2). Any idea how to do that? PLEASE help

i experienced the same problem. this is just easy. after jailbreaking 1.1.1, install the ibrickr. after installing soft upgrade.
when it says cannot ready to upgrade, simple TURN OFF-ON your iphone. no need to reinstall the 1.1.1 again. just run the ibrickr one more time and soft upgrade and you have 1.1.3!!!

My 1.1.1 jailbroken iPhone isn’t updating to 1.1.3 properly. I run iBrickr and it downloaded all the files, patched them, and uploaded them. It then says to run 1.1.3 soft upgrade (which is now at 2.0 instead of 1.0) I hit “install”, it downloads, then says “Your iPhone is not ready to upgrade. See “More Info”. So I click on “More Info”, but its just a blank page.

Anyone know how to get past this?
