Using this guide you will be able to update your Garmin GPS system to the latest (2011) map data for North America, all you need is a little bit of patience and careful reading.

Using this guide you will be able to update your Garmin GPS system to the latest (2010) map data, all you need is a little bit of patience and careful reading.

This is a complete tutorial on how to get the Homebrew channel installed on your wii with Backup loader Gamma v0.3
*IMPORTANT: Once you modded your wii using this tutorial you shouldn’t update your wii anymore, because this might damage your wii or your homebrew channel may not function anymore. Only install updates from the Homebrew channel itself.
Also don’t update to a higher version to follow the tutorial; Just stick to the version you have now.*
Before we start, you should check your current firmware version of your wii,

Ok, that’s all that you need. Next step is the homebrew channel.
Installing the homebrew channel
After you downloaded the required files, unrar wii softmod, and open the SD card formatter. Format your SD Card with the following options:
Now place all the files from location “wii_softmod/Wii_progandfiles_v3.x/sdcardfiles for v3.x” to the root of your SD Card. Your SD Card should look like this:
SDCARD
-Apps
-Private
-wad
-boot.dol
-boot.elf (boot.elf is only for wii users with firmware version 3.2)
Now, insert the SD card into your wii, go to the Wii button bottom left:
Now press your SD Card and you will see the Twilight hack.
Now you have to follow the on-screen instructions to install the homebrew channel. At the end the wii reboots and you will see your Homebrew channel!
You are now past the hard part now. Let’s continue with the installation of the Backup loader.
Installing the Backup Loader
This is where the tutorial splits into 3 parts. You will have to follow your firmware version.
We will start with users with firmware version 3.2:
Make sure Internet is configured correctly on your wii, but NEVER Patch when nintendo asks you to.
Once more, go to the homebrew channel and open wad manager v1.3 (or lower)Select “4 – Autoboot-0.3g-forsaekn.wad” and press + on your wiimote.
Now the Back loader Gamma channel should be installed on your wii!
Users with firmware version 3.3
Make sure Internet is configured correctly on your wii, but NEVER Patch when nintendo asks you to.

Users with firmware version 3.4

Getting ISO’s ready for burning:
Allright! you got past the most tricky part of the entire tutorial.
If you are planning on downloading games for you wii, you should keep the following information in mind.
First of all you should check out this site. You have to check 2 things before you download your iso:
Any game that says working, should actually work. When 1:1 Says Yes, it means you don’t need to patch it; When 1:1 says NO you will have to Patch it. If it says Yes/no Then you can choose.
If 1:1 Says no, you should patch your ISO with “isopatch” included in the rar. Otherwise, just leave the iso.
After downloading your Wii ISO, you have to check if it is completely in order.
Next there are 3 things to check:
When this is done, you are ready to burn your ISO! Here is how to do that:
When the burning is complete, insert your dvd into your wii, and launch the Backup Loader. The game will automatically start.

First up, why do you need a booster?
Well, it’s not so much a question of why because we all want a faster PC.
This is more a question of WHEN.
If you’ve been running a large application (or several large applications, maybe a game, Photoshop, something like that) the RAM can get taken up quickly. Even when you close down these programs, RAM can still be eaten-up.
You’ll notice this effect at the end of the day. When you first power-up your PC it’s running smoothly, by the end of the day it’s as sluggish as teenager who’s just eaten a whole pizza. Now, you can get various applications to solve this. Some cost a little, some cost a lot. But personally, we like it free. Especially when that free is really quick and easy.
So, here’s what you need to do. It works for both Vista and XP.
Step One: Open up Notepad (it’s in Accessories)
Step Two: Type in MYSTRING=(80000000)
Step Three: Save the file as MEMORY.VBE (or RAM.VBE if you like…just remember the .VBE)
Step Four: Make sure you save the file to your DESKTOP.
Step Five: Just double-click the newly created file on your desktop whenever your PC seems sluggish. It will give your RAM a much needed boost.
If you have less than 128mb of RAM. Change the 80000000 to 160000000 and it should work the same.

Create A New Text Document, type CMD in it & then save it as a batch file (some-name.bat). When you run this file, the command prompt window will open on the computer.
Step 2
Next type cd\windows in the command prompt window to change the directory to Windows. Now type in regedit to get to the registry editor gui.
Step 3
Once in regedit, get to the following area:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Appevents>software>classes> microsoft>windows>current version>internet settings>policies>system
once there, on the right side pane where it says Disable Taskmanager, right click on it, and select Modify. Change the value to “0″
Step 4
Now open Windows Task Manager By Holding Down: “CTRL+ALT+DEL”. In the processes list, look for any program names that looked like the program that controls the cafe timer. Many cyber cafes use cyberlux as the timing device but your product may vary depending on where you are located.
